2010 - The Year For APWU's "Prefect Storm"

Please contact your Representative and urge them to cosponsor H. Res. 173, a resolution by Representative Sam Graves, (MO).  This resolution urges the Postal Service to continue to provide 6 days of mail delivery.

The Postal Service is once again seeking congressional support in their effort to reduce mail delivery to 5 days.  I am certain you understand the consequences of such an action.  In addition to the thousands of jobs lost there will undoubtedly be an erosion of confidence the public has in the Postal Service’s ability to provide the services they depend on.  As a postal worker you know that there are many goods and services that simply cannot be delayed.  Medicine, lab tests and payroll checks to name a few.

People currently depend on the Postal Service to provide those services,
and if we don’t, they will find someone else who will.

You can contact your legislator by clicking on the following link and follow the simple steps
to initiate an email message to your Representative.
